Owner of Breaking Bad house installs fence to combat fans' pizza throwing

'Breaking Bad' House Owner Builds Iron Fence To Stop People Throwing Pizza On The Roof

Well now, according to KOB4 news, who have reported that as many as 100 people a week show up at the house, the owners of the house are finally building a fence to keep those unruly fans out.

And Frank Sandoval, who runs the Breaking Bad RV Tours, says he completely understands.

"We don't want to gate ourselves in", she said.

Breaking Bad finished in 2013 but tourists still flock to the site, with some trespassing for pictures by the front door and others even stealing rocks from the garden as souvenirs.

Incidentally, Weckiai Rannila, the renter of a University of New Mexico apartment that was the on-screen home of Breaking Bad Emmy victor Aaron Paul's Jessie Pinkman, tells the station she also has her share of sometimes "annoying" selfie-seeking fans.

Why pizza, I hear you cry?

The house appeared in "Breaking Bad" as the Whites' residence.

Mashable reports that fans reenacting the infamous pizza scene became so much of an issue that the show's creator, Vince Gilligan, called on fans to stop during a podcast.

So much so that after a "particularly messy weekend", the residents of the famous Albuquerque home have made a decision to put up a 6-foot high wrought iron fence, KOB 4 a local news channel in New Mexico reports.

"We just feel like we can't leave because when we do, something happens", said Joanne Quintana, whose mother owns the home, in an interview with KOB4.

"They're throwing pizzas on roofs and stuff like that". What you see below was the first take they shot-Bryan Cranston nails it.
