Snapchat Now Lets You Book Uber, Find Restaurants

Above Snapchat Context-specific app options

For example, someone may send you a picture of a plate of food they're now devouring, and add a geofilter to the image detailing where exactly they are. Context Cards also provide a way to take simple actions like calling for a ride with Uber or Lyft or reserving a table through OpenTable, Resy or Bookatable.

Snapchat has teamed up with several online services to introduce a feature called Context Cards.

For now, only posts that use Geofilters or appear in Snap Map or Search will get the additional functionality.

If users share their location along with a Snap - either by submitting it to a public Our Story or by adding a special venue filter - Snapchat will let others swipe up to see more info about that location.

Country specific versions for the rest of the world are expected in the near future.

Content partners for Snapchat's Context Cards include Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop, TripAdvisor, Foursquare, and Michelin.

Permutations: The results Ireland need to reach play-off (Part 2)
Wales enter Monday in second place on the Group D table, with 17 points, after a 1-0 win against Georgia on Friday. A loss means Wales will finish third. "I will really have to think about it and replay the game again".

The Context Cards displayed vary depending on the type of venue and the details available about the location.

Stories have been integrated into Context Cards which will make it easier to see more Snaps from the places that really interest you. Context Cards won't be limited to single Snaps either, as Snapchat is integrating them into Stories as well.

And the firm is confident that as it learns more about how to improve Context Cards, it will be adding more partners and additional information.

To find Context Cards, swipe up on any Snaps that say "more" at the bottom.

The first card will contain basic information like the name of a place, the category of the venue (say restaurant or store) and ratings.
