Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said that Pakistan's nefarious design to export terror has been thwarted by India after successfully eliminating infiltrators from all across the border.

On the Dokalam issue, the Home Minister said India was not a weak country anymore, but a strong one, which was in a position to resolve the contentious matter with its neighbour China.

The Minister was referring to the terror funding case the NIA has filed against Kashmiri separatist leaders as well as JeM chief Hafiz Sayeed. The NIA, which began operations in Hotel Centaur, New Delhi and thereafter shifted its Headquarters at the 7th Floor, NDCC-II Building, Jai Singh Road, New Delhi on June, 2013.

The maximum number of cases, 63, pertained to "jihadi terrorism", followed by 41 cases of terror financing, 25 of insurgency in the Northeastern states, and 13 incidents of Left-wing extremism, Kumar said.

Singh said investigating "militant activities" is a tough job. In flawless tandem: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh reviewing the passing out parade of the Central Industrial Security Force officers and sub-officers at the Regional Training Centre, Arakkonam, on Monday.

Is the Trump Administration Using Religion to Allow Discrimination?

"Fake currency contributes to the rise of terrorism and high quality fake currency notes act as oxygen for terrorism", he said.

According to the home minister, the NIA has been getting full cooperation from central and state agencies in its task. "Hence, the CISF should maintain its core competence against terrorism so that our strategic installations do not come under attack by anti-India forces", he said.

"The NIA has established its credibility and impartiality in the last eight years through professional and scientific investigation", he said.

Meanwhile, NIA Director General Sharad Kumar said the agency had been able to bring back normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir by choking foreign terror funding.
