White House "Calm Before The Storm" Explanation Comes Up Short

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders at a press briefing in Washington on Oct. 5 2017

An American writer and political analyst says the agenda of US President Donald Trump is to create chaos and worsen matters day by day.

"We are also praying for the people of Puerto Rico", Mr Trump told the crowd, dragging out the vowels into a caricature of the Spanish pronunciation. Again, since all his other talking points on North Korea have been about how ready the USA is for war with them, it's a concerning direction he's pointing in.

In recent days, as Secretary of State Rex Tillerson flew home from meeting with top Chinese officials, Trump tweeted that his envoy was "wasting his time" in trying to probe North Korea's willingness to talk.

The President made the foreboding message to reporters who had been called at the last minute to document a dinner he was hosting at the White House for military leaders and their spouses.

Moments later, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters that Trump's "calm before the storm" prediction was "extremely serious", and that the president was definitely not just "messing with the press".

"I think the president has a great frustration with the fact that a lot of times you have inaccurate information that's being presented as factual", Sanders said.

India has chosen to play Shikhar Dhawan instead of Ajinkya Rahane and Axar Patel will make way for Kuldeep Yadav. You need to execute your yorkers and you have to have a strong head to take your chances against the batsmen.

Trump fired off a similar tweet earlier in the week calling out NBC and CNN for "fake news".

"We're going to continue doing that, and we're going to continue doing that as a team with the president leading that effort", she said on Friday. "Maybe it's the calm before the storm", Trump said. He is doing all these other despicable acts: He had said he wanted better relations with Russian Federation, but now they are at their worst level ever.

Trump repeatedly has made clear his distaste for dialogue with North Korea.

The president does not have statutory authority to void any of Puerto Rico's debt, which led some optimistic distressed debt investors to interpret Trump's remarks to mean a bailout may be in the works.

The president's comments do, however, clearly refute reports that the relationship between Trump and Tillerson was on a downward slide, so much so that the latter was reportedly considering resigning.

Democratic congressman and USA veteran Ted Lieu said that the only thing that could ease tensions between the United States and North Korea was Trump's resignation.
