Angelina used as 'honey trap' for Kony

It was hoped that Jolie could be embedded with forces close to Kony left

Leaked emails from the International Criminal Court (ICC) allegedly show that superstars Angelina Jolie and George Clooney were asked to help capture or spy on African warlords and dictators.

Jolie was in correspondence with the ICC chief prosecutor at the time, Luis Moreno Ocampo, who reportedly developed a fascination with the actress over a period of time from 2003 and 2012. Ocampo claimed that Jolie suggested luring Kony to a private dinner where he would be arrested. If you remember the viral 2012 video on Kony, he's the leader of the Lord's Resistance Army, which formerly operated out of Uganda, and is responsible for abducting tens of thousands of men, women and mostly children and forcing them to join his militant group.

Jolie served as a United Nations special envoy and once decried Kony. "Let's discuss logistics. Much love Xxx", Jolie replied.

Jolie replied: "Brad is being super supportive".

The warlord was indicted for war crimes in 2005 by the International Criminal Court. Thus, we can read that Angelina Jolie " had the idea to invite Kony to dinner and it is stopped ".

It was thought that their presence would then draw Kony out of his armored compound and enable the U.S. forces to take him into custody. The Hollywood superstar's call for Kony's capture came around the same time that Moreno-Ocampo was attempting to arrange her participation in the plot.

Flawless storm close to ruining Pakistan's proud Test series record in UAE
This is the sixth day-night Test with a pink ball since Australia and New Zealand played the first at Adelaide in December 2015. The pitch in Dubai shouldn't play a whole lot differently than Abu Dhabi, so there are runs to be had again.

Neither the ICC nor Jolie's reps responded to PEOPLE's requests for comment. Jolie, who is also known for her humanitarian work, had mentioned in a 2010 interview with Nightline that she would like to help take down Kony. Can Brad go with you?'

Moreno Ocampo later added, "It will be great to spend more time with the American troops".

I guess we'll never know if Brange could have captured Kony or not.

Jolie wrote Moreno Ocampo at one point.

In the wake of the leak, Ocampo claims that he is the victim of a "targeted cyber attack", as he's now being questioned over his alleged ties to Libyan businessman Hassan Tatanaki, who worked alongside former dictator Muammar Gaddafi. Moreno Ocampo thought there was a chance that Jolie's presence would draw Kony into a vulnerable position, where special forces could capture him and bring him to trial for crimes against humanity.
