Sainz to replace Palmer at Renault from COTA

The Suzuka race was Palmer's last for the Renault team, which will replace him with Carlos Sainz Jr from the United States GP later this month.

"The Japanese Grand Prix will be my last race for Renault", Palmer said.

"It's been a bit of a odd weekend knowing it's the last with the team after three years, shame not going to Austin", Palmer told Sky Sports. "It's been an extremely challenging season and I've been through a lot in the last three years, but it's been a tremendous journey overall with the team".

"The Japanese Grand Prix will be my last race for Renault".

"When I'm heading back on the plane maybe it will sink in that I'm not driving for Renault again and maybe not in Formula 1 again". "I'm looking forward to working with m", said Sainz in official communiqué of Toro Rosso, where he wanted to thank Red Bull and promised to look for a big farewell in Suzuka, despite starting from penultimate position of grill. "We look forward to beating him on track!"

At Circuit of Americas in Austin, Daniil Kvyat will drive for us alongside Pierre Gasly.

Renault chief Abiteboul said that bringing in Sainz four races early would assist the team in getting a "jump start" on its 2018 preparations.

Confident, versatile New York Yankees will test Cleveland Indians
The Yankees are a great team, according to Pluto, though "they weren't supposed to be quite as good this year as in the past". Pluto would've rather seen the Indians play the Twins than the Yankees , but he said the Indians are clearly the better team.

"They did an incredible job and congratulations for that, it shows the commitment they have, and I really appreciate it".

Palmer carried a 20-place grid penalty into his final race.

The announcement from Toro Rosso also confirmed Gasly for the USGP, meaning he will not fight for the Super Formula title in Japan despite sitting just half a point behind the leader heading into the season finale.

"On my side, I will definitely do my very best in tomorrow's race... this would be the best possible send-off!"

"The driver I am today, compared to the driver I was in 2015, is a more complete and better one, and this is thanks to Toro Rosso, who are a great group of professionals".

Gasly and Kvyat are now likely to form Toro Rosso's 2018 driver line-up, although Pascal Wehrlein is considered an outside contender.
