Raiders QB Derek Carr listed as questionable for Sunday

This means that for the month or so the two seasons overlap, the Raiders play their home games on a field that includes a baseball diamond.

Now, they are faced with the diagnosis of a transverse process fracture to the back of quarterback Derek Carr, suffered against the Broncos and in turn thrusting backup EJ Manuel into the lineup. "I coached him in the Senior Bowl", Downing said.

"I don't know if I'd call it a benefit", he said, via the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Michael Gehlken. Former Buffalo starter EJ Manuel will be tasked with running the offense until Carr returns.

"I'm looking at it as an opportunity that's before me right now", Manuel told the Sacramento Bee.

Carr was listed as limited in practice Thursday and Friday. Despite his efforts, it appears Carr will not be the man under center for the Raiders vs. Ravens. He completed just eight passes for 28 yards two weeks ago in a 44-7 loss to Jacksonville and was only slightly better last week against Pittsburgh in a 26-9 defeat when he threw two interceptions for a second straight game and averaged 4.8 yards per attempt. Lynch hasn't done much - 45 carries, 151 yards and a touchdown - and he has yet to carry the football at least 20 times in a game. He's been a drop machine and has produced fewer yards than Lynch, 110, and scored just one touchdown.

It's not the first time the Trump administration has broken with its predecessor on how to interpret Title VII . Several LGBTQ civil rights groups blasted Sessions' directive.

"Derek Carr is Derek Carr", linebacker Terrell Suggs said.

The Ravens travel to Oakland having lost two in a row after a 2-0 start. I can't believe the Raiders would take a chance with their franchise, but if he's feeling well enough to get out there, they'll probably let him try it out with E.J. Manuel ready to come out of the bullpen early.

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco has thrown one touchdown, four interceptions, and been sacked six times in the last two games; However, he seems to play well when he faces the Oakland defense.

"You can see in the Denver game and in the preseason, [Manuel] runs the offense well", coach John Harbaugh said.

The Raiders cannot allow Flacco to use them (once again) to get his game on track.
