The previous weekend, Paddock had rented a high-rise condo in a building that overlooked the Life is lovely alternative music festival featuring Chance the Rapper, Muse, Lorde and Blink-182, said Lombardo, who offered no other details about what led Paddock there.

Paddock booked rooms overlooking the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago in August and the Life Is Beautiful show near the Vegas Strip in late September, according to authorities reconstructing his movements before he undertook the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history.

The Chicago Tribune reported that Paddock had requested rooms overlooking the park. "We have not confirmed whether that is the same Stephen Paddock, and we're working with the authorities".

Paddock rained bullets down on concert-goers from a nearby hotel tower, killing 58 and injuring hundreds more.

A law enforcement official who was briefed on the investigation and spoke only on condition of anonymity said that while Paddock booked the room at the Blackstone Hotel there is no record of him staying there.

Hundreds of thousands attended the August music festival at Chicago's Grant Park, including Malia Obama, the former president's daughter.

Sunday's shooting happened along the Las Vegas Strip, an area brimming with hotels and casinos located in unincorporated Clark County, just south of the Las Vegas city limits.

Confident, versatile New York Yankees will test Cleveland Indians
The Yankees are a great team, according to Pluto, though "they weren't supposed to be quite as good this year as in the past". Pluto would've rather seen the Indians play the Twins than the Yankees , but he said the Indians are clearly the better team.

But he ultimately chose to mount an attack from the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino across the street from the Route 91 Harvest country music festival held last weekend. The attacked killed at least 58 people and injured nearly 500 people, making it the deadliest mass shooting in USA history.

"This individual and this attack didn't leave the sort of immediately accessible thumbprints that you find on some mass casualty attacks", McCabe said.

He said Paddock lived a "secret life" and 'meticulously planned on the worst domestic attack in United States history'.

Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said at a news conference yesterday night that Paddock must have had some help along the way given his huge arsenal the explosive materials found in his auto, and his meticulous plan, but they don't know who that might be.

Police announced Thursday that they had found a Hyundai Tucson SUV they had been searching for as part of the probe while executing a search warrant at the home in Reno that Paddock shared with his girlfriend, Marilou Danley.

Sheriff says Marilou Danley is a person of interest again, after report that Paddock wired $100,000 to an account in the Philippines a week before the attack, while she was in the country.

"We can confirm that a reservation was made under the name Stephen Paddock, however authorities have not confirmed that this is the same person as the Las Vegas shooter". However, officials have repeatedly said that they have so far found absolutely no links to worldwide terror groups and have cast doubt on the claim. She said in a statement released by her lawyer that she feared that might be his way of breaking up with her, but nothing more.
