Pakistan Is A Country Of Cowards Soon India Will Teach Them A Lesson Says J&K Dy CM Nirmal Singh

Pakistan's army said on Monday that Indian forces' cross-border shelling has killed a civilian and injured four others.

On September 3, Pakistan violated truce agreement and fired unprovoked in Krishna Ghati sector along the Line of Control.

An Army vehicle was also damaged in the aggression by Pakistani troops.

Pakistan's army "effectively engaged" Indian posts which were targeting civil population and destroyed two of them, the statement said. The exchange of fire between the two resulted in the death of two innocent civilians while five others were injured.

Pakistani troops indulged in firing and mortar shelling at border villages and forward posts along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, according to police. The violation has also caused major problems for the people residing along the border as they have been forced to flee their homes and have taken refuge in the shelter camps created by the government.

Kashmiri resistance groups in Jammu-Kashmir have been fighting against Indian rule for independence, or for unification with neighboring Pakistan.

Defence experts are opined that this ceasefire violation is a possible attempt to help the infiltrators to get inside the Indian territory.

Meanwhile, in Keran sector, security forces have foiled an infiltration bid.

The year 2017 has seen a sharp increase in ceasefire violations by Pakistan.
