Tracking rounds of showers from Irma

How much rain will Hurricane Irma send our way?

Early next week some spotty T-showers will return to the area.

Summer weather is back and temperatures in the 80s will stick around the next few days, but we'll gradually start to lose the sun as the week progresses.

The low will continue to weaken on Friday, as high pressure begins to build in from the west.

The remnants of Hurricane Irma will produce scattered showers in the metro-east, possibly beginning Tuesday afternoon and lasting until Wednesday night, the National Weather Service reported.

How Analysts Rated Pearson plc (LON:PSON) Last Week?
In other news, insider Lance Batchelor purchased 146 shares of the firm's stock in a transaction on Wednesday, July 12th. The Schaper Benz & Wise Investment Counsel Inc holds 235,227 shares with $12.08M value, down from 241,727 last quarter.

Today will NOT be a washout. Plenty of cloud cover, however, there is a small chance for a peak of the sunshine late in the afternoon. Shower activity picks up overnight into Wednesday. Slight chance for a shower.

As the remnants of Irma moved farther northwest Tuesday, the rain and wind tapered off.

Temperatures over the next few days will remain a few degrees below the average high for this time of year, 83 degrees, but it will feel balmy compared to recent days. With highs in the 70s to around 80 and increasing humidity, the week will end on a warm and sticky note, especially by mid-September standards. Luckily for us, what used to be Hurricane Irma, one of the strongest tropical cyclones recorded in the Atlantic Basin, will provide us with nothing more than a whimper by late this week. Temperatures will be closer to normal, if not slightly above through the weekend.

With an upper level ridge of high pressure remaining in control of the Great Lakes Region, mostly sunny skies will dominate on Friday as well.
