ESPN's Sergio Dipp 'meant no disrespect' with awkward Monday Night Football report

Twitter Sergio Dipp on Monday Night Football

While ESPN's "Monday Night Football" enjoyed an historic night, the same can't be said for sideline reporter Sergio Dipp.

It's my pleasure to introduce Sergio mothafuckin' Dipp.

Last night's Monday Night Football doubleheader capped an exciting opening weekend for the NFL.

If you give us the choice between sterile, irrelevant sideline reports and a moment of real human excitement and emotion like Dipp's, we're going to take the latter every single time. "From here on the field up close just watching coach Van Joseph from here you watch him now on the screen".

"I truly meant no disrespect, because all I wanted to do was to just show some love to these two historical head coaches", Dipp continued in his response video.

Putin thinks N.Korea crisis will not go nuclear, diplomacy to prevail
The U.S. and South Korea should "immediately stop the deployment process and withdraw relevant equipment", Geng said. The statement says both leaders stressed that the worldwide community has condemned North Korea's "provocations".

He then more confidently said, as ESPN switched to a shot of Joseph, "His diversity and his background is helping him a lot tonight".

Dipp was working for both ESPN Deportes and ESPN broadcasts, a massively impressive feat on its own. Sideline reports are nearly never that informative or entertaining; they are relics from a bygone era, where fans couldn't find out about injury news with one look at Twitter.

After the game, Dipp initially responded with a joke about his newfound fame, but the subject quickly turned more serious. "Quarterback at Colorado, defensive back in the National Football League, and here he is having the time of his life this night making his head coaching debut".

Dipp, who caught wind of the reactions and the criticism, quickly uploaded a video offering a honest apology for his fumble and pleaded for a second chance from viewers.

After the game, Dipp made a heartfelt apology for his freakish report from his hotel room.
