Kathy Griffin's No Longer Sorry About THAT Photo

Kathy Griffin

Kathy Griffin isn't sorry anymore. The project was photographed by Tyler Shields, who has largely been absent from most coverage of this current outrage cycle.

Griffin said she lost the support of people like Chelsea Clinton and Debra Messing.

"I am no longer sorry", she said in the segment below. "The whole outrage was B.S".

Well, after a few months spent waiting for the death threats to subside, Griffin has had plenty of time to think about what happened, and has decided that she's not sorry after all.

At the end of May, Kathy Griffin staged a photo where she posed holding a fake severed head of the American president.

The comedienne appeared on Australia's Sunrise show to promote her upcoming worldwide tour, and got defensive when host Samantha Armytage asked if her actions were out of line in regards to the POTUS. "I mean, these Trump fans, they're hard core". "The whole thing got so blown out of proportion".

Novartis Is First To Finish Line With CAR-T Cancer Drug Nod
Other possible severe side effects could include serious infection, low blood pressure, kidney injury, fever and decreased oxygen. Kymriah is intended for people with B-cell ALL whose cancer hasn't responded to or has returned after treatment, the FDA said.

When host Samantha Armytage suggested that even Democrats felt the image was over the line, Griffin good-naturedly took umbrage: "You're full of crap ― stop this", she retorted. Though she has been "through the mill", Griffin has now come to terms with the photos and is standing by them.

"Stop acting like my little picture is more important than talking about the actual atrocities that the president of the United States is committing", she said, adding that she was "on a mission to tell people, honestly, if it happened to me, as big mouthed and obnoxious as I am, it can happen to you".

Griffin was quick to apologize, tweeting that she was "wrong" and saying "I beg for your forgiveness" in an apology video she released.

The comedian will appear in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth in October and said she was excited to share her recent Trump experience with audiences.

Griffin told Yashar Ali of New York Magazine, she was hurt that Cooper did not contact her before he posted on Twitter his repudiation of what the comedian did.
