Samir Nasri joins Turkish side Antalyaspor

Medical scheduled: Manchester City close to agreeing midfielder deal with top-flight side – BBC

New City manager Pep Guadiola was not impressed with the midfielder last season and he sent him out loan to La Liga side Sevilla.

Draped in an Antalyaspor scarf, he was guided through the dense crush of supporters into a vehicle by the local security forces.

Lee explained Nasri's £180,000-per-week wages have made finding a willing suitor hard this summer, but Nasri could have the opportunity to rediscover his past playing potential in Turkey's top flight.

As for City departures, Nasri looks set to join Super Lig outfit Antalyaspor after arriving in Turkey for a medical with the club, according to Goal's Sam Lee.

The France global is expected to arrive in Turkey on Sunday as City discuss his departure.

Stabbing spree in Finland leaves two dead, several injured
Multiple ambulances, fire engines, and police cars are attending the centre of the city, which is 90 miles west of Helsinki . Meanwhile, the Department of Foreign Affairs says there are no reports of any Irish citizens being affected at this stage.

The Frenchman enjoyed a great start to his City career, clinching two Premier League titles in his first three seasons at the club.

The deal is all but done, the 30-year-old is expected to be unveiled as an Antalyaspor player this week.

Antalyaspor's key player over the past couple seasons has been former Cameroon worldwide striker Samuel Eto'o, who remains at the club despite persistent rumours he is unsettled. They were disappointed to finish the 2015-16 season in ninth place but improved to fifth place last term, just missing out on a spot in the Europa League.

This summer the team also signed France global and former Roma and AC Milan playmaker Jeremy Menez from Bordeaux.
