Amazon's new 'Instant Pickup' service promises items in two minutes or less

You think Amazon is the best when it comes to online shopping?

Online giant Amazon continues to shorten delivery time with a new service that puts goods in shoppers' hands within minutes of placing their order.

To that end the company is making major investments in logistics, including a fleet of air freighters, and also experimenting with different networks of physical stores, ranging from bookstores to grocery pickup locations.

Bad news - They have just started offering the service in Los Angeles; Atlanta; Berkeley, California; Columbus, Ohio and College Park, Maryland.

The retailer is also expanding in the United Kingdom, where it has 12 distribution centers and four more on the way before the year ends.

The items will be pre-stocked at the locker locations and employees will place the ordered items in the designated locker when an order is placed.

How to approach university Clearing
Once your Track status switches to "You are in clearing" or "Clearing has started" then you're good to go on to the next step. Your university offer will become unconditional, and you will receive a confirmation email from UCAS in the next few days.

I selected a bottle of San Pellegrino. Customers are given a special bar code to open the locker and retrieve their orders. After all, you can buy a phone charger nearly anywhere, but if Amazon offers its house brand charger at a better price than a consumer would pay at a drug store, for instance, then consumers would naturally choose Amazon if the location is convenient enough.

The items came from the back of the store, where I saw workers fulfilling the orders. Instant Pickup is now the fastest service for getting Amazon items, beating out Prime Now, which typically takes a few hours, and AmazonFresh Pickup, which you'll have to wait an unbearable 15 minutes for.

Amazon is now the market leader in the online retail market and doesn't let its customers down in improving their service quality level and making it easy for them.

Another day, another Amazon service. Students and other customers alike can be impulse buyers, and Instant Pickup lets you order and pick up so quickly that "instant gratification" is guaranteed.

It could be a hard sell, however. Amazon Lockers have been around for a while, letting customers order packages and send them to a Locker location that's near them (but not their home address) for convenient pickup.
