He has been filming characteristically unsafe scenes in Paris, where he rode a motorbike into a auto before flying through the air, and Oxfordshire, where Cruise was photographed parachuting at the beginning of the month.

The actor got hurt while shooting a stunt for his upcoming Mission Impossible 6.

TMZ posted video of the action, where the 55-year-old actor was wired to an overhead rig while performing a building-to-building jump Sunday in London. In the last Mission Impossible film, he was filmed hanging from a plane. He is eventually pulled away by members of the crew.

He is reprising his role as USA government operative Ethan Hun, and is continuing his policy of doing his own stunts.

The 55-year-old actor was filming the latest movie in the 'Mission: Impossible' franchise - in which he plays International Monetary Fund agent Ethan Hunt - over the weekend when he was hurt on set.

Chicago Bears Rookie Quarterback Poses For A Photo With Miss Illinois
But the same word can not be said about Denver's two quarterbacks competing for the starting job. Thursday, he played so poorly - and Trubisky so well - that he was forced to confront it again.

Aside from Mission Impossible, Tom Cruise is also set to start working on a sequel to the hit movie Top Gun - 1986!

He's become quite the stuntman over his long Hollywood career, but that doesn't mean things always go right for Tom Cruise! It is absolutely unbelievable-he's been training for a year.

The extent of his injuries is not yet known; reps for Cruise and Paramount Pictures did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.

We have all been eagerly anticipating the new Mission Impossible expected to be in cinemas on July 27, 2018.
