$725 a night to stay in Trump's former home

The listing plays up to the Trump connection while describing the president's childhood home

The boyhood home of US President Donald Trump is available to rent on Airbnb - and it's furnished with a life-size cardboard cut-out of the man himself.

The five-bedroom house in Queens is listed on Airbnb. According to the listing, the home has 15 beds and two sofa-beds.

"Not much has been changed since the Trumps lived here, the kitchen is original and the opulent furnishings represent the style and affluence in which the Trumps would have lived", the post says. Internet and cable TV are included so, it can be the flawless place to watch President Trump deliver remarks during a State of the Union address and really feel connected to what President Trump is saying.

The 2,500-square-foot home was sold last December to real estate investor Michael Davis, who flipped the property to an unnamed bidder in March for $2.14 million.

The listing bears a green insignia indicating it was "verified" by the website.

Staying in the President's former home will set you back $725 a night.

It is unclear if the host will try to pick and choose based on perceived political affiliations, since an anti-Trump activist could conceivably try to defile the house in some way.

"Guest have access to the entire house but should note that I live in one of the bedrooms which will not be accessible to you during your stay", the listing says.

"The operator of the Airbnb listing is someone I know and they contacted me to tell me that this is what their plan is", Hagani said in an interview. Donald Trump lived there from birth until the age of 4, when his family moved on to a bigger home.
