Who Is Obdulia Sanchez? Teen Who Livestreamed Fatal Crash Heads To Court

Teen Pleads Not Guilty in Deadly Crash She Live-Streamed as Attorney Says She 'Feels … Terrible'

The girlfriend of the 14-year-old Stockton, California girl killed in livestreamed vehicle crash is blaming not the victim's sister who was behind the wheel, but social media, for Jacqueline Sanchez's death.

Dressed in yellow prison garb and appearing via video in Merced County Superior Court, Sanchez pleaded not guilty to a host of charges, including felony manslaughter while intoxicated, vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence, two counts of driving under the influence resulting in injury, and driving with a 0.08% blood-alcohol level causing injury.

According to investigators, Obdulia was under the influence while driving a white Buick Century that was carrying her younger sister and another 14-year-old passenger, and started streaming the ride on Instagram just moments before the crash.

"The main thing that I want people to know is that - most people have seen this video and they just have this reaction on the kind of person she is based on this little clip into her life when they don't know anything about her", Samrao said. "Rest in peace, sweetie", the teen says. "If you don't survive, I am so f-cking sorry".

Jacqueline Sanchez died in the crash.

Sanchez was driving the auto on Friday when it veered onto the shoulder of a road about 75 miles northwest of Fresno, authorities said.

Her father, Nicandro Sanchez, told Fresno television station KFSN he has seen the video.

Scott Blumstein wins 2017 World Series of Poker's $8.15M prize
The victory came about in memorable circumstances, as the river swung the decisive hand Blumstein's way. Joining Blumstein in the final three are Pennsylvania-based Daniel Ott and France's Benjamin Pollak .

Obdulia's video then shows her kneeling beside her mortally wounded sibling. Manuela Seja was in the back seat with her friend, Jacquelin Sanchez. "I F-ing killed my sister, okay", Obdulia yelled through the phone.

"Honestly, I'm not mad at anybody and I don't blame anybody", Seja, who suffered a leg injury, said during an interview with the station.

Neither Obdulia Sanchez nor an attorney representing her could be reached for comment. The CHP says Sanchez was under the influence when she rolled her auto over, into a barbed wire fence and then a field. "She knows she did something wrong".

The live Instagram video went viral over the weekend after a Mary Hernandez posted it to Facebook - it was subsequently taken down for Community Guidelines violations. "We don't know that she was drunk that's the allegation", Samrao said. She remained in custody Monday in Merced County on suspicion of drunken driving and manslaughter, according to booking records.

A mother and father in California are reeling from the worst kind of tragedy imaginable right now: a auto accident that left one of their teenage daughters dead and the other in jail on suspicion of drunk driving and manslaughter. And in an earlier video posted by Obdulia that same day, her family says she nearly hit a SUV.

"Instagram highlights all these videos of people doing insane stupid things to young people who already feel a lot of pressure to fit in and look cool", her attorney argued.

A GoFundMe page has been created to help the family pay for Jacqueline's funeral expenses. She was just amusing and she would be amusing.
